"Design is a way of life for me"
Vanisara Nicole Rybkin is a rising graphic designer and a fine artist based in Southern California. She was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, and has relocated to California in 2006. She has been working as a graphic designer for over four years, specializing in print media, brand identity, and commissioned paper art.
She graduated from La Sierra University (LSU) with Summa Cum Laude in 2011 with B.A. in Business Management, B.S. in Marketing and minor in Fine Arts. During her time in college she received several scholarships and awards for outstanding academic performance, and was greatly encouraged by her faculty to keep pursuing art. After graduation she spent one year in Bangkok, working as an art teacher, designer, and a fashion model. Upon her return to the United States, she began her apprenticeship with the Art Department at LSU as well as continuing to work on personal projects. In 2016, her BMW Motorsport work was published in an online magazine, BMWblog.com. Currently, she is working toward her Masters in Fine Arts at Otis College of Art and Design.
For the Chamber’s annual gala, we had a very specific vision and Vanisara brought that idea to life. It was such a pleasure to collaborate with her and she made sure that the end product translated from invitation to event day. Her attention to detail and deadlines greatly contributed to the overall success of the event
